OUR MISSION: TEA FOR EDUCATION


The mission of Tea for Education is to fundamentally change public education in America.


State legislatures across the country will be encouraged to pass legislation granting unrestricted parental choice in the selection of schools for their children. This encouragement will come in the form of face to face interaction between Tea Party leaders and their State Senators and State Representatives. Tea for Education is a resource for Tea Party groups to devise strategies for dealing with the issue of school choice and the indentured politicians who oppose it.

Public awareness of the advantages of choice in education will result from an ongoing effort to educate the public as to the choices that can be available and the benefits of each.


The ultimate goal of Tea for Education is to re-direct the focus of the public education system in America away from the leadership of the teachers unions and government bureaucracy and toward a free market in education that is structured to benefit the children first.
